About Us: Who We Are

Innovations High School is a program of CIRCLE Foundation and a campus of the Youth Connection Charter Schools. We are located on 17 N. State Street in Chicago, Illinois. Innovations High School provides an alternative program of high school study in a small school environment for students ages 16 to 21.

IHS is committed to Higher Standards of instruction. Focused on project-based learning, IHS offers an innovative and challenging arts-integrated experience in a small school setting. IHS faculty engages in year-round curriculum planning and professional development activities that ensure a high quality education designed to engage students and increase academic performance.

Our curriculum includes courses in the core subjects of Math, Science, English, Social Science, Music, Health and Physical Education, and Art. Innovations High School boasts a state-of-the-art music studio, and offers Sound Engineering and TV Production classes. Graduates of Innovations High School must complete 18 academic credit hours of study, 40 hours of community service, and a senior portfolio.
